Alex was a hoot yesterday! So, this is an ode to Alex today...
I have been blessed with children who have not been too picky of eaters. You place food in front of them, and they come running, no matter what it is! James' only exception is beans. He doesn't care for kidney, black, white, whatever! But, we make him eat them anyways, but only a little, because he literally will gag on them.
Alex has no exception to this rule! Put food in front of him, and he will SCARF it down! He gets as big of a fistfull as he can grab, and starts shovin' it in! Here's a picture of him with a sandwich in his mouth... a quarter of a sandwich to be exact! Oh, just wait till they are teenagers :-)
Alex has learned how to cross his fingers! I'm actually quite thrilled, because he learned how to do it on his finger sucking hand... so he now sucks his fingers less, because he's busy trying to cross his fingers!
Alex was hilarious yesterday... he has a fetish for shoes. And yesterday, he was in full force. Every 5 minutes, he changed shoes, and only once did he get his OWN shoes on, and when he did, they were on the wrong feet! Oh, it was adorable. Next, I'll need to get a picture of Alex with his Spiderman jacket on... it lights up when he moves, and man, oh, man does he LOVE that thing. Grandma D sent it to him for his birthday I believe?? and it's now cold enough to wear it (yes, it's only 70, and we're wearing coats!)... so now he wears it inside and outside of the house. Yesterday he was wearing his Spiderman shirt... no he's never seen Spiderman, but he sure does know all about it!
He came up to me yesterday with one of the boys' Star Wars toys, and told me "Millennium Falcon" As Todd said... this boy has no hope! We sure do love him! Oh, and one more thing... his other FAVORITE thing is Blues Clues... he calls them "two's two's" very cute!
Have a good one!

Alex is such a cutie! Love the 'ode to him!
That's great that he learned to cross his fingers (especially on the 'finger sucking' hand)!
